Non-thermal Dark Matter from Affleck-Dine Baryogenesis
In this talk we discuss the origin and nature of the dark matter in the Affleck-Dine (AD) baryogenesis. The AD baryogenesis via most of the flat directions predict formations of large Q-balls, and a great number of the lightest supersymmetric particles (LSPs) are produced nonthermally via the late-time decays of these Q-balls. In order to avoid the overclosure of the universe by these nontherma...
متن کاملThermal inflation, baryogenesis and axions
In a previous paper, we proposed a simple extension of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model which gives rise to thermal inflation and baryogenesis in a natural and remarkably consistent way. In this paper, we consider the λφ = 0 special case of our model, which is the minimal way to incorporate a Peccei-Quinn symmetry. The axino/flatino becomes the lightest supersymmetric particle with mã ...
متن کاملThermal Effects and Flat Direction Baryogenesis
In this paper we provide a detailed numerical study of the influence of thermal effects on the original picture of AD baryogenesis. These effects are found to modify the results greatly in some cases. We estimate the baryon/entropy ratio and provide numerical results on the typical behavior of the charge as a function of the strength of the potential and other parameters.
متن کاملAffleck-Dine baryogenesis after thermal inflation.
We argue that an extension of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model that gives rise to viable thermal inflation, and so does not suffer from a Polonyi/moduli problem, should contain right-handed neutrinos which acquire their masses due to the vacuum expectation value of the flaton that drives thermal inflation. This strongly disfavours SO(10) Grand Unified Theories. The μ-term of the MSSM s...
