Non-Invasive Assessment of Ultra-Short Time Heart Rate Variability During Wingate Test

چکیده

The aim of present study was to investigate the sedentary healthy men’s ultra-short heart rate variability (HRV) during Wingate Anaerobic Test (WAnT) (30-sec) and parasympathetic reactivation in first 60-sec after WAnT. final sample comprised 101 individuals (Mean±SD; Age=28.9±4.8 years, Height=176.5±5.5 cm, Weight=89.8±8.8 kg). powers were measured by Heart then recorded as before test for 30-sec test. HRV Polar V800 GPS Sports Watch with Rate Monitor H7 band. To compare testing stages parameters, repeated one-way analysis variance (ANOVA) used. Binary comparisons determined Bonferroni relationship between exercise data power average watt assessed Pearson correlation Effect Size Cohen's d calculated. main finding this is that pre-test (60-sec) values continue drop dramatically post-test measurements (p<0.05). Also, no observed performance (r=-0.08, p>0.05). In conclusion, not sign recovery 60 seconds maximum anaerobic program men may be considered exhibit an imbalance activity autonomic nervous system.

Cardio-pulmonary fitness test by ultra-short heart rate variability

OBJECTIVES It is known that exercise induces cardio-respiratory autonomic modulation. The aim of this study was to assess the cardio-pulmonary fitness by ultra-short heart rate variability. MATERIALS AND METHODS Study population was divided into 3 groups: Group-1 (n = 40) consisted of military sports man. Group-2 (n = 40) were healthy age-matched sedentary male subjects with normal body mass ...

Analysis of Heart Rate Variability During Meditative and Non-Meditative State Using Analysis of Variance

In this paper the main objective is to quantify and compare the instantaneous value of heart rate for normal breathing patterns during Meditation and Non Meditation conditions. This paper involves Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) technique for the analysis of the heart rate variability patterns during the meditative and non meditative states. The analysis is divided into three stages i.e. data acqu...

Validity of (Ultra-)Short Recordings for Heart Rate Variability Measurements

OBJECTIVES In order to investigate the applicability of routine 10s electrocardiogram (ECG) recordings for time-domain heart rate variability (HRV) calculation we explored to what extent these (ultra-)short recordings capture the "actual" HRV. METHODS The standard deviation of normal-to-normal intervals (SDNN) and the root mean square of successive differences (RMSSD) were measured in 3,387 a...

Accuracy of Ultra-Short Heart Rate Variability Measures

Heart rate variability (HRV) measures have been used to assess autonomic cardiac regulation. The standard lengths used in HRV analyses are 5 minutes and 24 hours. In this paper we investigated the accuracy of three HRV measures for ultra-short record length, 10 seconds, which is the length of standard electrocardiograms. The measures chosen were: Standard Deviation Normal– Normal (SDNN), Root M...
