Non-Hermitian control of optical turbulence in systems with fractional dispersion

چکیده
We show an efficient mechanism to control optical turbulence in systems with different dispersion laws, including parabolic, sub-diffractive, hyper-diffractive or general fractional dispersion. The method is based on the modification of energy cascade through spatial scales leading turbulence: a non-Hermitian spatio-temporal periodic potential allows unidirectional coupling between modes excitation process. prove significant increase and reduction flow turbulent states, by either condensing towards small wave-numbers affecting transfer large wave-number. study complex Fractional Ginzburg–Landau equation, universal model for pattern formation wide range systems. enhancement indeed dependent imposed direction flow, controlled phase shift real imaginary parts temporal oscillation potential. • take advantage asymmetric properties potentials reduce cascade. are able periodically modulating space time. also favour system. have proven effect spatiotemporal dispersions.
