چکیده
This study investigates the electronic states and physical quantities of an organic charge-transfer complex HMTSF-TCNQ, which undergoes a charge-density-wave (CDW) phase transition at temperature $T_c\simeq 30$ K. A first-principles calculation is utilized to determine that normal state topological semimetal with open nodal lines. Besed on calculation, we develop tight-binding model investigate in detail. Below $T_c$, CDW examined scheme using mean-field approximation. It shown lines are deformed into closed ones, their shapes sensitive order parameter. Using this model, theoretically evaluate dependencies two quantities: spin-lattice relaxation time $T_1$ orbital magnetic susceptibility. In particular, anomalous plateau obtained low temperatures diamagnetism. We presume originates owing conflict between interband diamagnetism, impurity scattering, line deformation. also conduct experiment magnetism, results excellent quantitative agreement theory.

Semimetal-to-semimetal charge density wave transition in 1T-TiSe(2).
We report an infrared study on 1T-TiSe(2), the parent compound of the newly discovered superconductor Cu(x)TiSe(2). Previous studies of this compound have not conclusively resolved whether it is a semimetal or a semiconductor-information that is important in determining the origin of its unconventional charge density wave (CDW) transition. Here we present optical spectroscopy results that clear...

Non-linear electrical response in a charge/orbital ordered Pr 0.63 Ca 0.37 MnO 3 crystal : the charge density wave analogy. Abstract Non-linear conduction in a charge-ordered manganese oxide Pr 0.63 Ca 0.37 MnO 3 is reported. To interpret such a feature, it is usually proposed that a breakdown of the charge or orbitally ordered state is induced by the current. The system behaves in such a way t...
متن کاملCompetition between Pauli and orbital effects in a charge-density wave system
We present angular dependent magneto-transport and magnetization measurements on α-(ET)2MHg(SCN)4 compounds at high magnetic fields and low temperatures. We find that the low temperature ground state undergoes two subsequent field-induced density-wave type phase transitions above a critical angle of the magnetic field with respect to the crystallographic axes. This new phase diagram may be qual...
متن کاملAnomalous relaxation kinetics and charge-density-wave correlations in underdoped BaPb1−xBixO3
Superconductivity often emerges in proximity of other symmetry-breaking ground states, such as antiferromagnetism or charge-density-wave (CDW) order. However, the subtle interrelation of these phases remains poorly understood, and in some cases even the existence of short-range correlations for superconducting compositions is uncertain. In such circumstances, ultrafast experiments can provide n...
متن کاملJahn-Teller Coupled Charge Density Wave in A Two Orbital Double Exchange System
In a two orbital double exchange model we formulate Jahn-Teller coupled charge density wave in half-filled limit. Softening of Jahn-Teller phonons corresponding to distortion modes Q2 or Q3 associated with perfect nesting of Fermi surface leads to this instability at low temperature. The gap equation for charge density wave state and its dependences on electron-lattice coupling are calculated e...
