چکیده
We report the synthesis of coated gold nanoparticles with nitrobenzoic moieties (AuNPs-TNB). They displayed small and narrow size distribution (2 nm) as shown by TEM imaging. These functionalized AuNPs-TNB were physically adsorbed on multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) electrodes. Their stable adsorption was monitored electrochemical methods. The stability activated hydroxylamine layer enhanced compared to dinitro precursor onto CNTs layer. Unactivated oxygen reduction reaction catalyzed multicopper oxidases through increased aromatic electrostatic interactions limiting current densities higher than 500 µA cm−2. Next, electrocatalytic properties active form toward oxidation reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) low overpotential at near neutral pH. Associated a NAD-dependent glucose dehydrogenase, bioelectrodes assessed for electrooxidation. A complete glucose/O2 enzymatic fuel cell developed based unactived AuNPs cathodic DET promoter anodic electrocatalyst respectively. nanostructured assembly exhibited efficient 450 cm−2 in high concentration O2 saturated conditions. In close those found physiological fluids (0.04 4.00 mmol L−1), biofuel linear range limit detection (2.5 ± 0.9 µmol L−1).

Preliminary Report of NAD+-Dependent Amino Acid Dehydrogenase Producing Bacteria Isolated from Soil
Amino acid dehydrogenases (L-amino acid: oxidoreductase deaminating EC 1.4.1.X) are members of the wider superfamily of oxidoreductases that catalyze the reversible oxidative deamination of an amino acid to its keto acid and ammonia with the concomitant reduction of either NAD+, NADP+ or FAD. These enzymes have been received much attention as biocatalysts for use in biosensors or diagnostic kit...
متن کاملPaclitaxel-functionalized gold nanoparticles.
Here we describe the first example of 2 nm gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) covalently functionalized with a chemotherapeutic drug, paclitaxel. The synthetic strategy involves the attachment of a flexible hexaethylene glycol linker at the C-7 position of paclitaxel followed by coupling of the resulting linear analogue to phenol-terminated gold nanocrystals. The reaction proceeds under mild esterific...

The extensive use of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) in nanomedicine, especially for intracellular imaging, photothermal therapy, and drug delivery, has necessitated the study of how functionalized AuNPs engage with living biological interfaces like the mammalian cell. Nanoparticle size, shape, surface charge, and surface functionality can affect the accumulation of functionalized AuNPs in cells. Co...
