Nielsen-Olesen vortices in noncommutative space
We construct an exact regular vortex solution to the self-dual equations of the Abelian Higgs model in non-commutative space for arbitrary values of θ. To this end, we propose an ansatz which is the analogous, in Fock space, to the one leading to exact solutions for the Nielsen-Olesen vortex in commutative space. We compute the flux and energy of the solution and discuss its relevant properties.
متن کاملThe Moduli Space of Noncommutative Vortices
The abelian Higgs model on the noncommutative plane admits both BPS vortices and non-BPS fluxons. After reviewing the properties of these solitons, we discuss several new aspects of the former. We solve the Bogomoln’yi equations perturbatively, to all orders in the inverse noncommutivity parameter, and show that the metric on the moduli space of k vortices reduces to the computation of the trac...
متن کاملSinglet scalar dark matter in noncommutative space
In this paper, we examine the singlet scalar dark matter annihilation to becoming the Standard Model particles in the non-commutative space. In the recent decades, many candidates of dark matter have been offered, but our information about the nature of dark matter is still limited. There are such particle candidates as scalar matetr, fermion, boson, gauge boson, etc.; however, they have nei...
متن کاملNon BPS Noncommutative Vortices
We construct exact vortex solutions to the equations of motion of the Abelian Higgs model defined in non commutative space, analyzing in detail the properties of these solutions beyond the BPS point. We show that our solutions behave as smooth deformations of vortices in ordinary space time except for parity symmetry breaking effects induced by the non commutative parameter θ. Associated with C...
متن کاملMoving vortices in noncommutative gauge theory
Exact time-dependent solutions of nonrelativistic noncommutative Chern Simons gauge theory are presented in closed analytic form. They are different from (indeed orthogonal to) those discussed recently by Hadasz, Lindström, Roček and von Unge. Unlike theirs, our solutions can move with an arbitrary constant velocity, and can be obtained from the previously known static solutions by the recently...
