‘Nice to Meet You Again’: When Heutagogy Met Blended Learning in Teacher Education, Post-Pandemic Era

Heutagogy and blended learning (BL) are core concepts in the educational discourse post-COVID-19. Conducting a mixed-methods study, we investigate meeting points between heutagogy principles BL context of curricular change academic timetable teacher education college, where pre-COVID most courses have been taught face-to-face (F2F). At present, educators students meet F2F for three weeks, followed by week remote learning, combining synchronous asynchronous pedagogies. Data collected closed-ended questionnaire two focus groups, involving altogether 76 lecturers 553 students. Findings indicate that has applied all facets BL, rather than only with online or digital technological components. This study explores bottom-up growth expressions at points. When identified, there predominance students’ agency life-long learners, together such as non-linear capability development underrepresented. contributes to research field it identifies meaning way structural curriculum can constitute an accelerator catalyst when implementing practice.
