چکیده
Abstract Mn-WO 3 /TiO 2 catalysts were investigated for Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) of NO with NH . The synthesized by wetness impregnation method different Mn loadings (1.5-3-12 wt%) on 8wt%WO All three compared and bare MnO x oxide, used as references. 1.5wt%Mn-8wt%WO exhibited the highest performance in conversion N selectivity. A commercial catalyst, based titania supported vanadia tungsta, (V O 5 -WO ), widely its high efficiency, was also present work. morphological, structural, redox electronic properties their thermal stability studied several techniques (N adsorption/desorption, X-ray diffraction, H temperature-programmed reduction, temperature programmed desorption, photoelectron spectroscopy). aim this paper is to study effect ambition obtain highly active selective a large window temperature. replacement toxic vanadium classic V catalyst best performing 2, represents an important achievement improve environmental sustainability.

COMBINED MERCURY REMOVAL AND LOW TEMPERATURE NH3-SCR OF NO WITH MnOx/TiO2 SORBENTS/CATALYSTS
MnOx/TiO2 catalysts/sorbents were investigated for flue gas purification via the simultaneous low-temperature NH3-SCR of NO and elemental Hg capture, in the temperature range 25-300 °C. In particular, the effects of the Mn precursor salt (acetate vs. nitrate) and of the TiO2 textural properties (nanotubes vs. random mesopores) on both deNOx and Hg capture efficiencies were addressed. The cataly...
متن کاملThe Formation of N2O from NH3-SCR Reaction over Commercial V2O5/TiO2-Based Catalysts
Introduction Nitrous oxide (N2O) is a strong greenhouse gas with global warming potential (GWP) which is much greater, by 310 times, than that of CO2, and chronic exposure of humans to it even with low concentrations has been known to cause miscarriages in an early gestation period, liver disorders, kidney troubles, cancers and troubles of nervous systems [1-3]. N2O having such effects and high...
متن کاملLow-temperature SCR of NO with NH3 over noble metal promoted Fe-ZSM-5 catalysts
We have reported previously the excellent performance of Fe-exchanged ZSM-5 for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with ammonia at high temperatures (300–400 C). In this work, we found that the reaction temperature could be decreased to 200– 300 C when a small amount of noble metal (Pt, Rh, or Pd) was added to the Fe-ZSM-5. The SCR activity follows the order Pt/FeZSM-5 > Rh/Fe-ZSM-5 > Pd...
متن کاملLow-temperature SCR of NO with NH3 over USY-supported manganese oxide-based catalysts
A series of catalysts of manganese oxide, manganese–cerium and iron–manganese oxide supported on USY (ultra-stable Y zeolite) were studied for the low-temperature selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with ammonia in the presence of excess oxygen. It was found that MnOx/USY have high activity and high selectivity to N2 in the temperature range 80–180 8C. The addition of iron and cerium oxid...
