THREE NEW SPECIES OF TRICHODERMA FOR THE MYCOFLORA OF IRAN
Some 350 Trichoderma isolates were obtained from soil samples collected from different parts of Iran. Cultures were purified on 2% water agar by hyphal tip method prior to identification. Obtained isolates were identified using morphological features including colony characters (pigmentation and growth rate on PDA) and microscopic characters such as shape of conidiophores, shape and size of con...
متن کاملNEW SPECIES OF TRICHODERMA FOR IRAN
Some 800 soil and rotten wood samples were collected from Gilan, Mazandaran and GolestanProvinces in the north of Iran. Pure cultures were obtained by single conidium and single chain methods. Colony features were recorded...
متن کاملTaxonomic Study of Amanita Subgenus Lepidella and Three Unrecorded Amanita Species in Korea
Amanita Pers. is a well-known monophyletic mushroom genus with a broad distribution. However, the diversity of Korean Amanita species has been underestimated, and most taxonomic studies conducted in Korea have only investigated their morphological characteristics. This approach is frequently insufficient for correct identification in fungal classification; therefore, we constructed a phylogeny ...
متن کاملFirst report of three new Fusarium species isolated from garden soil in southern Iran
Fifty Fusarium isolates were obtained from 20 garden soil samples in Hormozgan province (S Iran). The isolates were identified based on morphological and molecular data. Sequence data were generated for TEF-1αgene, following PCR amplification. Among the identified species, Fusariummangiferae, F.gaditjirrii, and F. decemcellularerepresent new records to the mycobiota of Iran.
