New Perspectives on Reverse Translation: Brief History and Updates

Since the 1950s, reverse translation has been an enigmatic part of Crick’s central dogma molecular biology. It might be described as possibility to back-translate information from proteins nucleic acids (or codons). A few studies have attempted theorize and/or conduct in vitro experiments test likelihood translation, with ideas often involving creation peptide recognition sites that bridge and codon. However, due many constraints including asymmetrical informational transfer, stability protein-peptide bonds, structural non-uniformity protein R-groups, loss post-translational modifications, this concept requires follow-up studies. On other hand, current bioinformatic tools rely on computational programs biological databases represent a growing branch Bioinformatics-based translationcan utilize codon usage tables predict codons their counterparts. In addition, development machine learning may allow for exploration vitro.
