Primary cutaneous CD30+T cell lymphoma: A case report
Primary cutaneous CD30+ T cell lymphoma is rare lymphoma originally in and confined to the skin. These lymphomas usually present as a large solitary and often ulcerated nodule. Its prognosis is a good and has a good response to radiotherapy. We report a 34- year- old man who had primary cutaneous CD30+T cell lymphoma on his face, which presented as an ulcerated nodule.
متن کاملPrimary cutaneous T-cell lymphomas.
Primary cutaneous T-cell lymphomas (CTCLs) encompass a clinically and biologically heterogeneous group of non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHLs) defined by clonal proliferation of skin-homing malignant T lymphocytes and natural killer cells. They account for up to 75% to 80% of all cutaneous lymphomas. The current WHO-EORTC classification of cutaneous lymphomas with primary cutaneous manifestations lists...

It is critical to distinguish CD30+ T-cell LPDs from other CD30+ processes involving the skin that include: Systemic lymphomas (eg, systemic ALCL, ATLL, PTCL), Other cutaneous process such as other CD30+ skin lymphomas such as mycosis fungoides (MF), especially transformed MF, cytotoxic T-cell lymphomas, and Benign disorders such as lymphomatoid drug reactions, arthropod bites, viral infections...

Primary CD301 cutaneous T-cell lymphomas (CTCLs) represent a spectrum of non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas (NHLs) that have been well defined at the clinical, histologic, and immunologic level. This group, which includes 2 main entities (large cell lymphoma and lymphomatoid papulosis [LyP]) and borderline cases, is characterized by the expression of CD30 antigen by neoplastic large cells at presentation,...
متن کاملDystrophic xanthomatosis in primary cutaneous CD30-positive T-cell lymphoma. Report of two cases
An 80-year-old man presented a two-year history several firm, dome-shaped and nonulcerated skin nodules, 0.5 to 2-cm in diameter, involving the anterior and lateral aspect of the left leg (fig. 1). A diagnosis of CD30+ CTCL was established based on the histopathology and immunohistochemistry results (fig. 2), and after staging procedures. A T-cell monoclonal rearrangement was demonstrated by me...
