چکیده
Macrophage activation syndrome is a form of secondary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis in the setting autoimmune diseases. It’s rare, hyperinflammatory complication requiring prompt institution therapy to prevent organ dysfunction and death. The patient was successfully treated steroids, plasma exchange cyclophosphamide.
