چکیده

Abstract Purpose of Review The current review aims to explore recent studies that have illustrated a link between neuroinflammation and tinnitus the consequential effect on neuronal functioning. We parallels amongst pain pathologies novel treatment option. Recent Findings Genetic pharmacological blockage pro-inflammatory cytokines mitigates physiological behavioral phenotype in acute rodent models. In addition, target signaling pathway prevent transition from chronic neuropathic pain, which could translate tinnitus. Summary Neuroinflammation likely mediates hyperexcitability auditory pathway, driving development tinnitus, we believe translational regulation plays role maintaining persistent signaling. therefore propose this as potential therapeutic strategy.

P 88: Matrix Metalloproteinases in Neuroinflammation

Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) are a family of neutral proteinases that are important in normal development, cellular differentiation or migration, angiogenesis, neurogenesis, wound repair, and a wide range of pathological processes such as oxidative stress and neuroinflammation. MMPs have been demonstrated to increase the permeability of the blood–brain barrier (BBB) by degrading the c...

P 133: Neuroinflammation in Alzheimer ’s Disease

Neuroinflammation in Alzheimer’s disease

Amyloid-β plaques and neurofibrillary tangles are the main neuropathological hallmarks in Alzheimer's disease (AD), the most common cause of dementia in the elderly. However, it has become increasingly apparent that neuroinflammation plays a significant role in the pathophysiology of AD. This review summarizes the current status of neuroinflammation research related to AD, focusing on the conne...
