Grammatical competence is the knowledge of and ability to use a language's grammatical resources. Understanding communicating meaning across generations, as well being able recognize properly constructed sentences that adhere these rules (Kusumawardani & Mardiyani, 2018). On other hand, students who have high self-esteem are more likely achieve their goals cope better with life's challenges, whereas those low become isolated. One psychological issues all face self-esteem. Self -esteem influences one’s self-efficacy. Furthermore, watching English movies, particularly subtitles, will improve one's vocabulary speaking (Pratiwi Ayu, 2020). However, despite numerous studies investigated language learning mastery grammar, no study was conducted yet regarding relationship between Netflix viewing habits, competence, academic self-efficacy senior school specifically in local setting. Hence, researcher motivated conduct determine selected from public schools Tagaytay City.
