چکیده
Introduction: Nephrotic syndrome is a clinical of heavy proteinuria and hypoalbuminemia or hypoproteinemia. Renal biopsy fundamental to assess not only the type but also degree disease activity. The overall prognosis response treatment often depend on severity histological lesions their reversibility.1,2 Case Presentation: An eighteen years old man with nephrotic planned for kidney biopsy. This case showed patient swollen face (especially cheek). On Biopsy results showing glomerulus proliferation cells mesangeal matrix, adhesions in (50%) glomerulus, focal sclerosis some glomeruli, erythrocyte visible urinary space thickening basement membrane partially atrophic tubules, erythrocytes tubular lumen. Conclusion: cushing hypokalemia who had renal feature from was segmental glomerulosclerosis. underlying cause FSGS still unclear. Assessing diagnosis etiology become important direct subsequent approach therapy

A clinicopathologic study of focal segmental glomerulosclerosis: comparison between nephrotic and non-nephrotic focal segmental glomerulosclerosis.
Seven out of 16 patients with primary focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FGS) did not showed the nephrotic syndrome throughout their clinical courses, and then patients with FGS could be divided into the two groups, nephrotic FGS group (NS-G) and non-nephrotic one (NO-G). The clinicopathologic findings of NS-G and NO-G were compared retrospectively to define the pathogenesis of the glomerular ...

Circulating permeability factors have been identified in the plasma of patients with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). Post-transplant recurrence of proteinuria, improvement of proteinuria after treatment with plasmapheresis, and induction of proteinuria in experimental animals by plasma fractions each provide evidence for such plasma factors. Advanced proteomic methods have identified...

The collapsing variant of focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) is a renal injury that may be idiopathic or associated with various factors; it is characterized by glomerular collapse, which leads to steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome (NS) and progressive chronic renal failure. FSGS has not been well studied in children, in which most of the cases are idiopathic. We report six cases of th...

Primary ciliary dyskinesia is characterized by congenital impairment of mucociliary clearance. Kartagener syndrome (KS) is a clinical variant of primary ciliary dyskinesia which is involved in situs inversus associated with chronic respiratory infections. In addition, glomerular disease in KS syndrome is rare and reported cases are limited. We had a 27-year-old female patient with KS who presen...
