A bstract In this paper, we derive a characterisation of negative scalar potentials, V < 0, in d -dimensional effective theories quantum gravity. This is achieved thanks to an Anti-Trans-Planckian Censorship Conjecture (ATCC), inspired by refined version the TCC.
