چکیده

Abstract Chemical control is still a mainstay for some farmers in shallot center areas such as Brebes, Central Java. Applications of fungicides that are carried out these very intensive and periodically every 3-5 days. The application too can certainly have negative impact on functional microbes including biological disease agents. purpose this study was to evaluate the several brands efficacy T. harzianum agent red onion mole. Experiments were field laboratory. results experiment showed combined fungicide did not increase single application. While laboratory tests with doses inhibit growth colonies germination harzianum. Brand-B active ingredients Carbendazim 12% Mancozeb 63% colony 100%.

Impact of Trichoderma harzianum Biocontrol Agent on Functional Diversity of Soil Microbial Community in Tobacco Monoculture in Argentina

The aim of this study was to assess the effect of Trichoderma harzianum R3P2 biocontrol agent on soil microbial community in tobacco monoculture. To this end, we studied the changes in soil metabolic diversity with cell suspensions methodology using Biolog (Inc., Hayward, CA.) GN2 MicroplatesTM. Principal ® component analysis showed that functional abilities of the soil microbial community in t...

Induction of defense responses in cucumber plants (Cucumis sativus L. ) By the biocontrol agent trichoderma harzianum

The potential of the biocontrol agent Trichoderma harzianum T-203 to trigger plant defense responses was investigated by inoculating roots of cucumber seedlings with Trichoderma in an aseptic, hydroponic system. Trichoderma-treated plants were more developed than nontreated plants throughout the experiment. Electron microscopy of ultrathin sections from Trichoderma-treated roots revealed penetr...

Biocontrol Activities of Gamma Induced Mutants of Trichoderma harzianum against some Soilborne Fungal Pathogens and their DNA Fingerprinting

Background: Random induced mutation by gamma radiation is one of the genetic manipulation strategies to improve the antagonistic ability of biocontrol agents. Objectives: This study aimed to induce mutants with more sporulation, colonization rate leading to enhanced antagonistic ability (in vitro assay) comparing to wild type (WT) and the assessment of genetic differences (in situ evaluat...

In vitro biocontrol activity of Trichoderma harzianum on Alternaria alternata in the presence of growth regulators

The in vitro biocontrol ability of Trichoderma harzianum on the phytopathogen Alternaria alternata improved in the presence of the growth regulators gibberellic acid (GA3), or indolacetic acid (IAA) or benzylaminopurine (BAP) or foliar nutrient at concentrations similar or higher than those used at the field level. These plant hormones decreased the secretion of endopolygalacturonase (endo-PG) ...
