Necessary criteria for Markovian divisibility of linear maps

چکیده
We describe how to extend the notion of infinitesimal Markovian divisibility from quantum channels general linear maps and compact convex sets generators. give a approach toward proving necessary criteria for (infinitesimal) divisibility. With it, we prove two in any finite dimension d: an upper bound on determinant terms Θ(d)-power smallest singular value product Θ(d) values. These allow us analytically construct, given dimension, set that contains provably non-infinitesimal divisible ones. Moreover, show that, general, no such non-trivial can be derived classical counterpart this scenario.

More on Divisibility Criteria for Selected Primes
This paper is a continuation of [19], where the divisibility criteria for initial prime numbers based on their representation in the decimal system were formalized. In the current paper we consider all primes up to 101 to demonstrate the method presented in [7]. The notation and terminology used in this paper have been introduced in the In this paper n, k, b denote natural numbers and i denotes...
متن کاملDivisibility Criteria for Class Numbers of Imaginary Quadratic Fields
In a recent paper, Guerzhoy obtained formulas for certain class numbers as p-adic limits of traces of singular moduli. Using earlier work by Bruinier and the second author, we derive a more precise form of these results using results of Zagier. Specifically, if −d < −4 is a fundamental discriminant and n is a positive integer, then Tr(pd) ≡ 24 p− 1 · ( 1− (−d p )) ·H(−d) (mod p) provided that p...
متن کاملnon-divisibility for abelian groups
Throughout all groups are abelian. We say a group G is n-divisible if nG = G. If G has no non-zero n-divisible subgroups for all n>1 then we say that G is absolutely non-divisible. In the study of class C consisting all absolutely non-divisible groups such as G, we come across the sub groups T_p(G) = the sum of all p-divisible subgroups and rad_p(G) = the intersection of all p^nG. The proper...
متن کاملGeneralized Catalan Numbers: Linear Recursion and Divisibility
We prove a linear recursion for the generalized Catalan numbers Ca(n) := 1 (a−1)n+1 ( an n ) when a ≥ 2. As a consequence, we show p |Cp(n) if and only if n 6= p−1 p−1 for all integers k ≥ 0. This is a generalization of the well-known result that the usual Catalan number C2(n) is odd if and only if n is a Mersenne number 2 k − 1. Using certain beautiful results of Kummer and Legendre, we give a...
متن کاملSpectrum Preserving Linear Maps Between Banach Algebras
In this paper we show that if A is a unital Banach algebra and B is a purely innite C*-algebra such that has a non-zero commutative maximal ideal and $phi:A rightarrow B$ is a unital surjective spectrum preserving linear map. Then $phi$ is a Jordan homomorphism.
