چکیده
The manufacturing rate of laser chemical machining (LCM) is currently restricted to avoid disruptive boiling bubbles in the process fluid. An increase necessitates adjustments beam or fluid properties. However, current understanding surface removal mechanisms insufficient achieve a consistent quality under these conditions. For an improved modeling, in-process measurements geometry, temperature and are required. Due complex environment, no suitable measurement technique for geometry exists. This contribution presents indirect approach based on confocal fluorescence microscopy that offers potential near-process application LCM environment. As result, micro-geometry different surfaces shown be indirectly measurable LCM-equivalent conditions such as thick layers gas path. Furthermore, combined fluorescence-based proposed.

Characterization of Expanding Laser Plasma Produced by Laser Ablation
This work is devoted to characterizing the plasma produced by nanosecond laser ablation. The expanding plasma was generated by the interaction of a home made XeCl excimer laser with a Cu target. The time-of-flight method was utilized as diagnostic tool of the plasma charged particles. By this method, in fact, we were able to measure the ion and electron currents, the charge-states and the energ...
متن کاملSurface reconstruction of detect contours for medical image registration purpose
Although, most of the abnormal structures of human brain do not alter the shape of outer envelope of brain (surface), some abnormalities can deform the surface extensively. However, this may be a major problem in a surface-based registration technique, since two nearly identical surfaces are required for surface fitting process. A type of verification known as the circularity check for th...
متن کاملCharacterization of Laser Tattoo Removal Treatment Using Pulsed Photothermal Radiometry
Pulsed photothermal radiometry (PPTR) enables noninvasive determination of temperature depth profiles induced in strongly scattering biological tissues and organs, including human skin, by pulsed laser irradiation. In the present study, we evaluate the potential of this technique for objective characterization of a laser tattoo removal procedure. The study involved 5 healthy volunteers (age 20–...
متن کاملSurface Reconstruction of Etched Contours
Previously, a computationally efficient and geometrically accurate etching simulation was developed to compute contours of constant depth at different time steps [1]. Experimental verification of this early work has been established [2]. However, contours are not amenable to the analysis and design of microsystems, since it is often necessary to determine object interaction and mechanics in whi...
