چکیده

Microwave imaging is a high-resolution, noninvasive, and noncontact method for detecting hidden defects, cracks, objects with applications testing nonmetallic components such as printed circuit boards, biomedical diagnosis, aerospace inspection, etc. In this paper, an array of microwave sensors designed based on complementary split ring resonators (CSRR) are used to evaluate the features in dielectric media nondestructive diagnosis. array, each element resonates at different frequency range 1 GHz 10 GHz. Even though operating frequencies not that high, acquisition evanescent waves extreme proximity imaged object processing them using near-field holographic allows obtaining high-resolution images. The performance proposed demonstrated through simulation experimental results.

an infinite planar array of rectangular microstrip patch antenna analysis

the methods which are used to analyze microstrip antennas, are divited into three categories: empirical methods, semi-empirical methods and full-wave analysis. empirical and semi-empirical methods are generally based on some fundamental simplifying assumptions about quality of surface current distribution and substrate thickness. thses simplificatioms cause low accuracy in field evaluation. ful...

Near-field Raman imaging using optically trapped dielectric microsphere.

The stumbling block of employing Raman imaging in nanoscience and nanotechnology is the diffraction-limited spatial resolution. Several approaches have been employed to improve the spatial resolution, among which aperture and apertureless near-field Raman techniques are the most frequently used. In this letter, we report a new approach in doing near-field Raman imaging with spatial resolution o...

Imaging of 3-D Dielectric Objects Using Far-Field Holographic Microwave Imaging Technique

This paper describes the working principle of a three-dimensional (3-D) holographic microwave imaging (HMI) method for imaging small inclusion embedded in a dielectric object. Using published dielectric properties of various materials, a 3-D mathematical model is developed under the MATLAB environment to validate the HMI on various dielectric objects. Results indicate that the 3-D HMI has an ab...

Near-Field Imaging of Infinite Rough Surfaces in Dielectric Media

This paper is concerned with an inverse surface scattering problem in near-field optical imaging, which is to reconstruct the scattering surface of a dielectric medium with a resolution beyond the diffraction limit. It is a nontrivial extension of the authors’ work on near-field imaging of infinite rough surfaces from impenetrable to penetrable media [G. Bao and P. Li, SIAM J. Appl. Math., 73 (...

Microwave Imaging Using SAR

Polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar (Pol.-SAR) allows us to implement the recognition and classification of radar targets. This article investigates the arrangement of scatterers by SAR data and proposes a new Look-up Table of Region (LTR). This look-up table is based on the combination of (entropy H/Anisotropy A) and (Anisotropy A/scattering mechanism α), which has not been reported up now. ...
