Nb Phase Position Marking for Clarifying the Formation Process of Cu-Al Composite Interfacial Phases in Continuous Composite Casting

چکیده

Cu-Al composites are widely applied materials exhibiting advanced properties of both matrix metals. Controlling the brittle interfacial phases is a key factor in improving strength composites. This paper studied formation process fabricated by continuous composite casting. The phase sequence, growth direction and mechanism were clarified via element marking thermodynamic calculations. spatial distribution from aluminum side to copper as follows: α + θ layer (α-Al CuAl2), (CuAl2) γ (Cu9Al4). Moreover, insular η (CuAl) δ (Cu3Al2) exist sublayer. sequence phase, phase. transformed liquid diffusion formed scouring surface with aluminum, grow towards simultaneously grows layer.
