Narratives of Ageing and Materiality

چکیده
Abstract The body is a site on which ageing occurs and also the means by we navigate experience material world. As our bodies change as age, so too do experiences of (and interactions with) environment. This article presents findings from an ethnographic study everyday life among residents older people's home in northern England. I draw concept ‘embodied course’ (Marshall Katz 2012) to argue that residents’ feelings about being becoming at were shaped their embodied, temporal socio-material throughout lives, these continued time residential home.
