Nanosecond-pulsed plasma jet in air and air/helium mixtures: Plasma properties and anticancer effect

Nanosecond-pulse power has the characteristics of quickly increasing applied power, short pulse width, and considerably high-energy electrons. In this study, we investigated different air/helium mixture ratios nanosecond-pulsed-power-driven plasma jet discharge physicochemical properties gaseous aqueous phases. Results showed that length luminescence intensity increased with decreasing air ratio. Notably, there is a maximum inflection point in N2O5 Fourier transform infrared spectrometry detection concentration H2O2 at 70% Furthermore, used drug-resistant ovarian cancer cells (A2780/ADR) as model to detect anticancer effect, results indicating ratio best condition inhibit cell growth induce apoptosis. Our research indicates driven by nanosecond-pulse supply potential application an tumor therapy.
