چکیده
The resistance of bacteria to current antibiotic drugs and the re-occurrence different ailments after several therapeutic protocols continue be a cause for concern. Arylated amino acids are vital synthons many compounds; they serve as essential building blocks in synthesis nitrogen heterocycles with various biological activities. This research reports on some N-aryl evaluates their antibacterial 3a–3j were obtained by reacting 4-substituted fluorobenzene 1a–1d 2a–2g via metal-free base-induced aryl amination reaction halides. activities synthesized compounds evaluated against eight bacterial strains (Four Gram-positive, Bacillus subtilis (ATCC 6633), Streptococcus pneumonia 33400), Staphylococcus aureus 25923), epidermidis 14990), four Gram-negative, Enterobacter cloacae 43560), Escherichia coli 25922), Proteus mirabilis 43071), Klebsiella oxytoca 13182) using agar well diffusion method streptomycin reference drug. screening indicates that 3a, 3e, 3j have promising broad-spectrum potential, acid displayed activity was comparable standard drug pneumonia, coli, mirabilis.

متن کاملDesign, Modeling and Synthesis of 1,2,3-Triazole-Linked Nucleoside-Amino Acid Conjugates as Potential Antibacterial Agents.
Copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloadditions (CuAAC or click chemistry) are convenient methods to easily couple various pharmacophores or bioactive molecules. A new series of 1,2,3-triazole-linked nucleoside-amino acid conjugates have been designed and synthesized in 57-76% yields using CuAAC. The azido group was introduced on the 5'-position of uridine or the acyclic analogue using the tosyl-a...
متن کاملSynthesis of novel N-sulfonyl monocyclic beta-lactams as potential antibacterial agents.
New cis monocyclic beta-lactams were synthesized by [2+2] Staudinger cycloaddition reactions of the imine (3,4-dimethoxybenzylidene)-(4-methoxyphenyl)-amine and ketenes derived from different acyl chlorides and Et3N. These monocyclic beta-lactams were then cleaved by ceric ammonium nitrate (CAN) to give NH-monocyclic beta-lactams, which in turn were converted to N-sulfonyl monocyclic beta-lacta...
متن کاملDesign and synthesis of novel N-benzylidenesulfonohydrazide inhibitors of MurC and MurD as potential antibacterial agents.
A series of novel N-benzylidenesulfonohydrazide compounds were designed and synthesized as inhibitors of UDP-N-acetylmuramic acid: L-alanine ligase (MurC) and UDP-N-acetylmuramoyl-L-alanine: D-glutamate ligase (MurD) from E. coli, involved in the biosynthesis of bacterial cell-walls. Some compounds possessed inhibitory activity against both enzymes with IC(50) values as low as 30 microM. In add...
متن کاملNovel Levofloxacin Derivatives as Potent Antibacterial Agents
In this report, a new series of fluoroquinolone agents which was derived from levofloxacin was synthesized and evaluated against Gram-positive (Bacillus subtillis, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis and Micrococcus luteus) and Gram-negative (Esherichio coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Serratia marcescens) organisms. The results showed that some of the synth...
