MV-algebras and Partially Cyclically Ordered Groups

چکیده
We prove that there exists a functorial correspondence between MV-algebras and partially cyclically ordered groups which are the wound-rounds of lattice-ordered groups. It follows some results about can be stated in terms MV-algebras. For example, study together with cyclic order allows to get first-order characterization unimodular complex numbers finite deduce pseudofinite MV-chains pseudo-simple (i.e. share same properties as simple ones). generalize these non-linearly MV-algebras, for example hyperarchimedean

MTL-algebras arising from partially ordered groups
After dropping the implication-like operation and reversing the order, an MTL-algebra becomes a partially ordered structure (L;≤,⊕, 0, 1) based on the single addition-like operation ⊕. Furthermore, ⊕ may be restricted to a partial, but cancellative addition + without loss of information. We deal in this paper with the case that the resulting partial algebra (L;≤,+, 0, 1) is embeddable into the ...
متن کاملPartially Ordered Pattern Algebras
A partial order on a set A induces a partition of each power An into “patterns” in a natural way. An operation on A is called a -pattern operation if its restriction to each pattern is a projection. We examine functional completeness of algebras with -pattern fundamental operations.

(See e.g. [6] for background.) When X is equipped with a distinguished basis D for its topology, closed under finite meets and joins, one can investigate situations where D is also closed under the implication (2), i.e., where D is a Heyting subalgebra of O (X). Recall that X is a spectral space if it is compact and T0, its collection D of compact open subsets forms a basis which is closed unde...

متن کاملLattice-ordered abelian groups and perfect MV-algebras: a topos-theoretic perspective
This talk is based on [2]. We establish, generalizing Di Nola and Lettieri’s categorical equivalence [3], a Morita-equivalence between the theory of lattice-ordered abelian groups and that of perfect MValgebras. Further, after observing that the two theories are not bi-interpretable in the classical sense, we identify, by considering appropriate topos-theoretic invariants on their common classi...
