Multispectral Image Matching Using SIFT and SURF Algorithm: A Review

SIFT and SURF image matching were used in many industries such as survey mapping, geology, medical automotive. Multispectral sensors offered today become new challenge for researchers to study the performances of algorithms on multispectral image. Basically, consists more than three bands. As a result, differences between those bands leads nonlinear intensity images. Both algorithm detectors using ‘blob detector’ that extracting feature points key point later on. Hence, less visibility images was one issues need be solved. Many investigate propose strategy extract match The fusions, combinations different descriptors revised or alteration themselves among approached taken by order achieved good results.
