Multiple Optimization of Cold Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement Mixture

Many asphalt pavements fail structurally after having performed well for some years. In China, when low volume of traffic highway is recycled, the surface course and base stabilized by inorganic stabilizers are sometimes recycled mixed together to form a new base. Portland cement, lime-fly ash, lime or cement-fly ash added improve strength base, but they not used at same time, so it difficult road engineer select an effective economical stabilizer. To evaluate effect efficiency different comprehensively, this paper four kinds cold mixtures every kind mixture has 3 mix proportions. The unconfined compression strength, flexural tensile splitting resilient modulus, shrinkage performance, water stability fatigue failure engineering cost 12 were compared. Finally, with proportion 5:15:80 was recommended.
