Multiphysics Modeling Simulation and Optimization of Aerodynamic Drum Magnetic Separator

Aerodynamic Drum Magnetic Separator (ADMS) uses an adjustable air flow to enhance the separation of magnetic particles from gangue. In order explore matching relationship between field, and gravity as well capture behavior under action multi-physics, a related simulation model is established using finite element software COMSOL Multiphysics accuracy results verified by measurement, formula calculation, experiment. The trajectories probabilities in different fields are calculated, critical airflow velocity corresponding specific probability. addition, field characteristics particle effect N-S alternate arrangement N-N homopolar compared optimizing permutation poles. This may provide reference for accurate control enhanced coupling force field.
