Reading comprehension is a dual activity that requires various cognitive and linguistic processes to complete. This the result of two skill sets namely: decoding comprehension. It covers differences in reading provides useful basis for classifying difficulties. study aims develop multimedia as learning tool training skills elementary school students. The subjects this involved 30 grade 5 students at level. research uses development (R&D) approach, through Gall & Borg study. Data collection techniques were carried out interviews observations non-test databases formative summative evaluations testing effectiveness developed media which included test category. data analysis technique used several stages include; transcription, verification, coding from all have been collected. model integrated with tools (multimedia) including student teacher books, well lesson plans (RPP). Based on obtained, it known inquiry effective improving outcomes than without using multimedia. findings provide fundamental reference thinking about its growth by emphasizing importance reading.
