<p>Selective harmonic elimination technique SHE is adopted in this work to reduce the contents single phase cascaded multilevel inverter. The firing instants for electronic switches MOSFETs inverter are calculated off line five level thirteen An Arduino microcontroller programmed cope with different topologies of implemented multi-level (MLI) results compared Simulink simulation program and found very close each other. works at system frequency (50 Hz or 60 Hz) switching losses small. sinusoidal pulse width modulation SPWM requires a carrier not less 20 times so approach be superior SPWM. Also, shows significant reduction THD as number levels increased. Results output voltages currents along their spectrum shown traditional SPWM.</p>
