Multi‐item unidimensional measurement scale construct: Perceived hygiene development (<scp>pHd</scp>)

The recent COVID-19 pandemic experience intensified the significance of hygiene in service industry. It is crucial to measure how practice adaptations and technology adoptions servicescapes have been perceived by customers regarding post-COVID-19 era. However, extant scales do not serve purpose contributions technology-specific practice-specific changes. Thus, this research was develop a multi-item unidimensional construct. Sequential mixed-methods (Qual-Quan) employed. Participants were sampled among restaurant patrons. A four-item development (pHd) construct successfully developed. Hospitality researchers practitioners can utilize scale improvements particular settings.
