Generalized multidimensional Hilbert transforms in Clifford analysis
During the last fifty years, Clifford analysis has gradually developed to a comprehensive theory offering a direct, elegant, and powerful generalization to higher dimension of the theory of holomorphic functions in the complex plane. In its most simple but still useful setting, flat m-dimensional Euclidean space, Clifford analysis focusses on the so-called monogenic functions, that is, null sol...
متن کاملMultidimensional Inverse Scattering with Fixed-Energy Data
1 Introduction In this lecture the author reviews his results on multidimensional inverse scattering. References to the works of other authors can be found in [20]. Five topics are briefly discussed:-1) property C with constraints and new type of the uniqueness theorems for inverse scattering,-2) inversion of noisy discrete fixed-energy 3D scattering data and error estimates,-3) variational pri...
متن کاملApplications of Clifford Analysis to Inverse Scattering for the Linear Hierarchy in Several Space Dimensions
The Inverse Scattering Transform (IST) is a nonlinear analog of the Fourier transform which has been used to solve certain nonlinear evolution equations in the same way that the Fourier transform can be used to solve linear partial diierential evolution equations. The current understanding of the IST is based on the complex inhomogeneous Cauchy-Riemann equation. This works ne in one space dimen...
متن کاملMultidimensional Inverse Quantum Scattering Problem and Wiener-Hopf Factorization*
\Ve consider the direct and inverse scattering for the n-dimensional Schrodinger equation, n 2: 2, with a potential having no spherical symmetry. Sufficient conditions are given for the existence of a Wiener-Hopf factorization of the corresponding scattering operator. This factorization leads to the solution of a related Riemann-Hilbert problem, which plays a key role in inverse scattering.

Formation of fermion bag solitons is an important paradigm in the theory of hadron structure. We report here on our non-perturbative analysis of this phenomenon in the 1+1 dimensional massive Gross-Neveu model, in the large N limit. Our main result is that the extremal static bag configurations are reflectionless, as in the massless Gross-Neveu model. Explicit formulas for the profiles and mass...
