A goal programming procedure for ranking decision making units in DEA
This research proposes a methodology for ranking decision making units byusing a goal programming model. We suggest a two phases procedure. In phase1, by using some DEA problems for each pair of units, we construct a pairwisecomparison matrix. Then this matrix is utilized to rank the units via the goalprogramming model.
متن کاملknowCube for MCDM – Visual and Interactive Support for Multicriteria Decision Making
In this paper, we present a novel multicriteria decision support system (MCDSS), called knowCube, consisting of components for knowledge organization, generation, and navigation. Knowledge organization rests upon a database for managing qualitative and quantitative criteria, together with add-on information. Knowledge generation serves filling the database via e.g. identification, optimization,...
متن کاملNew Belief Functions based methods for multicriteria decision making
Any decision is closely linked to the quality and availability of information. Innovative methodologies are proposed to help decisions based on imperfect information provided by more or less reliable and conflicting sources in uncertain context. These methods combine new uncertainty theories and multicriteria decision making. The ER-MCDA methodology associates the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AH...

DEFINITION Multicriteria analysis is generally defined as “a decision-aid and a mathematical tool allowing the comparison of different alternatives or scenarios according to many criteria, often conflicting, in order to guide the decision maker towards a judicious choice” [12]. The set of decision alternatives considered in a given problem is often denoted by A and called the set of potential a...
متن کاملDynamic MCDM for Multi Group Decision Making
Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) models make preference decisions over multiple attributes’ alternatives available, which in most of the cases conflict among themselves. On the other hand, the classic MCDM model assumes that the decision maker has a pre-defined fixed set of criteria, when taking a decision, and is presented with a clear picture of all available alternatives. This classi...
