Multi-Technique Approach to Enhance the Properties of Fine Recycled Aggregate Concrete

This study investigated the properties of fine recycled aggregates (FRA), with a view to enhancing their for structural concrete applications. The explored several approaches including mixing; curing; systematic screening FRA particles below 1.18 mm reduce adhered cement paste (ACP) content; and use fly ash as 30% replacement modify microstructure concrete. To test these approaches, two series mixes were prepared at 0.45 0.55 w/b ratio, replacing natural sand 0, 25, 50% by mass, tests carried out after 3, 28, 180 days curing. Results show that combination ACP reduction treatment significantly enhanced compressive strength elastic modulus concrete, especially days, through modification pozzolanic reactions.
