Multi-stage Depressurization Analysis of Subsea Production System Based on LedaFlow Software

This paper briefly summarizes that during the depressurization operation in subsea pipeline for maintenance or prevention of hydrate formation, because flare knock-out drum pump is designed ambient temperature, and cannot deal with low temperature fluid process. Therefore, needs to be heated meet requirement pump. In order avoid volume exceeding surge drum, concept multi stage innovatively proposed this paper, which meets both requirements drum. Taking a gas field project South China Sea as an example, simulation analysis pressure carried out by using different size blowdown valve. It provides good reference similar future.
