چکیده

As one of the most effective biosurfactants reported to date, lipopeptides exhibit attractive surface and biological activities have great potential serve as biocatalysts. Low yield, high cost production, purification hinder large-scale applications lipopeptides. Utilization waste materials low-cost substrates for growth biosurfactant producers has emerged a feasible solution economical production. In this study, fish peptone was generated through enzyme hydrolyzation smashed tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis). Biosurfactant (mainly surfactin) production by Bacillus subtilis ATCC 21332 further evaluated optimized using comprehensive substrate. The conduction continuously assessed in 7 L batch-scale 100 pilot-scale fermenter, exploring possibility surfactin results showed that could effectively use peptones highest productivity achieved experiments 274 mg/L. experimental shed light on surfactins at scales wastes an

Biosurfactant production by Bacillus subtilis using corn steep liquor as culture medium

In this work, biosurfactant production by Bacillus subtilis #573 was evaluated using corn steep liquor (CSL) as culture medium. The best results were obtained in a culture medium consisting of 10% (v/v) of CSL, with a biosurfactant production of about 1.3 g/l. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report describing biosurfactant production by B. subtilis using CSL as culture medium. S...

Comparative Study for Biosurfactant Production by Using Bacillus subtilis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa

Biosurfactants are amphiphilic compounds produced by various bacteria and fungi which reduce surface and interfacial tension. Oil contaminated soil were collected from four different automobile shop in Mayiladuthurai, Tamilnadu, India. Bacillus subtilis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were isolated and identified from these four samples and these were screened for biosurfactants production using veg...
