چکیده
This article proposes a novel solution to the issue of protection instability caused by time synchronization error in high-speed differential schemes for dc microgrids. DC microgrids provide more efficient platform integrate fast-growing renewable energy sources, storage systems, and electronic loads. However, integration distributed generators (DGs) may result variable fault current magnitude direction during conditions, potentially causing miscoordination conventional graded overcurrent relays. One identified this utilizes maintain effective selectivity DG-dominated as short-circuit currents are highly transient, microseconds measured line cause stability issues, whereby maloperation relays occur faults external protected zone. investigates impact errors distribution systems. It then multisample (MSD) scheme that performs multiple comparisons over sampling window ensure while maintaining sensitivity internal faults.

Economic Droop Scheme for Decentralized Power Management in DC Microgrids
This paper proposes an autonomous and economic droop control scheme for DC microgrid application. In this method, a cost-effective power sharing technique among various types of DG units is properly adopted. The droop settings are determined based on an algorithm to individually manage the power management without any complicated optimization methods commonly applied in the centralized control ...

متن کاملModeling, Control and Protection of Low-Voltage DC Microgrids
Current trends in electric power consumption indicate an increasing use of dc in end-user equipment, such as computers and other electronic appliances used in households and offices. With a dc power system, ac/dc conversion within these loads can be avoided, and losses reduced. AC/DC conversion is instead centralized, and by using efficient, fully controllable power-electronic interfaces, high ...
متن کاملAn Intelligent Protection Method for Multi-terminal DC Microgrids Using On-line Phaselet, Mathematical Morphology, and Fuzzy Inference Systems
In this paper, a new method for fault detection, location, and classification in multi-terminal DC microgrid (MTDC) is proposed. MTDC grids have expanded due to some issues such as the expansion of DC resources, loads, and aims to increase power quality. Diagnosing the types and location of faults is important to continue the service and prevent further outages. In this method, a circuit kit is...
متن کاملAdaptive Network Protection in Microgrids
Microgrids comprise low voltage distribution systems with distributed energy resources (DER) and controllable loads which can operate connected to the medium voltage grid or islanded in a controlled coordinated way. This concept aims to move from “connect and forget” philosophy towards an integration of DER. Microgrids are expected to provide environmental and economic benefits for endcustomers...
