چکیده
The Shortest Path (SP) problem resembles a variety of real-world situations where one needs to find paths between origins and destinations. A generalization the SP is Dynamic (DSP) problem, which also models changes in graph at any time. When changes, DSP algorithms partially recompute while taking advantage previous computations. Although represents many real situations, it leaves out some fundamental aspects decision-making. One these existence multiple, potentially conflicting objectives that must be optimized simultaneously. Recently, we performed first incursion on so-called Multi-Objective (MODSP), presenting algorithm able take MODM perspective into account when solving problem. In this paper, go beyond formally define MODSP thus establishing clarifying with respect its simpler counterparts. particular, start brief overview related literature then present complete formalization class, highlighting distinguishing features as compared similar problems representing their relationship through novel taxonomy. This work motivates relevance by enumerating scenarios involve all ingredients, such multiple dynamically updated topologies. Finally, discuss challenges open questions for new class shortest path problems, aiming future directions. We hope sheds light theme contributes leveraging relevant research topic.

Multi-Objective Decision Making
Many real-world tasks require making decisions that involve multiple possibly conflicting objectives. To succeed in such tasks, intelligent systems need planning or learning algorithms that can e ciently find di↵erent ways of balancing the trade-o↵s that such objectives present. In this tutorial, we provide an introduction to decision-theoretic approaches to coping with multiple objectives. We ...
متن کاملMulti-objective and multi-constrained non-additive shortest path problems
Shortest path problems appear as subproblems in numerous optimization problems. In most papers concerning multiple objective shortest path problems, additivity of the objective is a de-facto assumption, but in many real-life situations objectives and criteria, can be non-additive. The purpose of this paper is to give a general framework for dominance tests for problems involving a number of non...
متن کاملEvaluating FPTASes for the Multi-Objective Shortest Path Problem
We discuss three FPTASes for the Multi-Objective Shortest Path problem. Two of which are known in the literature, the third is a newly proposed FPTAS, aimed at exploiting small Pareto curves. The FPTASes are analyzed, empirically, based on worst case complexity, average case complexity and smoothed complexity. We also analyze the size of the Pareto curve under different conditions.
متن کاملShortest Path Based Decision Making Using Probabilistic Inference
We present a new perspective on the classical shortest path routing (SPR) problem in graphs. We show that the SPR problem can be recast to that of probabilistic inference in a mixture of simple Bayesian networks. Maximizing the likelihood in this mixture becomes equivalent to solving the SPR problem. We develop the well known Expectation-Maximization (EM) algorithm for the SPR problem that maxi...
متن کاملThe multi-objective decision making methods based on MULTIMOORA and MOOSRA for the laptop selection problem
A decision making process requires the values of conflicting objectives for alternatives and the selection of the best alternative according to the needs of decision makers. Multi-objective optimization methods may provide solution for this selection. In this paper it is aimed to present the laptop selection problem based on MOORA plus full multiplicative form (MULTIMOORA) and multi-objective o...
