چکیده
The phenomenon of Global Software Development (GSD) has attracted the interest businesses all over world. It brings together partners from various national and corporate cultures to develop applications with numerous advantages, including access a vast labor pool, cost savings, round clock growth. GSD, on other hand, is technologically organizationally diverse poses number obstacles for development team, such as geographical distance, cultural differences, communication language barriers. services are provided by selecting one suitable global delivery options, i.e., onshore model, nearshore model or offshore model. Experts typically choose models based nature project needs customer. However, vendors clients lack an adequate decision support system that can assist them in making sourcing decisions. Therefore, current study presents Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) outsourcing decisions application maintenance. To achieve our target, two systematic literature reviews were conducted explored list 15 influencing factors. identified factors further evaluated industry performing empirical resulted 10 critical success We propose framework makers adopting strategy In order enhance decision-making process, MCDM developed Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). three case studies highly reputable international companies, IBM Stockholm, Sweden, Vattenfall AB, Sweden London company United Kingdom. outcomes these reviewed validated specialists firms. proposed used determines ranking alternatives suggests most option maintenance offshoring.

Decision making with the analytic hierarchy process
Decisions involve many intangibles that need to be traded off. To do that, they have to be measured along side tangibles whose measurements must also be evaluated as to, how well, they serve the objectives of the decision maker. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a theory of measurement through pairwise comparisons and relies on the judgements of experts to derive priority scales. It is th...

-Need of robust multi criteria decision making techniques are becoming essential in day today life for decision makers to make appropriate decisions. This paper attempts to explore robustness through rank reversal properties of the Data Envelopment Analytic Hierarchy Process (DEAHP) in decision making. DEAHP uses the principles of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to generate the local weights of...
متن کاملMulti Criteria Selection of Components Using the Analytic Hierarchy Process
The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) has been successfully used in the past for the selection of components, as presented in case studies in the literature. In this paper, an empirical study using AHP to rank components is presented. The components used in the study are for data compression; each implements one of the Arithmetic Encoding (AREC), Huffman coding (HUFF), Burrows-Wheeler Transform ...
متن کاملMulti-Criteria Test Case Prioritization Using Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process
One of the key challenges in software testing today is prioritizing and evaluating test cases. The decision of which test cases to design, select and execute first is of great importance, in particular considering that this needs to be done within tight resource constraints on time and budget. In practice, prioritized selection of test cases requires the evaluation of different test case criter...
