چکیده

Aim: The merger of the fifth lumbar vertebrae with first sacral is called sacralisation vertebrae. purpose this study, changes in os sacrum were detected, and morphometric measurements made.Materials Methods: Measurements on 30 bones laboratory from Department Anatomy performed using a digital caliper sensitivity 0.01 millimeters (mm). Os taken. Results: In one examined sacrums, it was found that tuberositas ossis sacri had form pit, underside it, there pronounced groove. processus transverse last vertebra fused not noticeably fused. Partial detected linea transversa at anterior junction vertebra. It determined 21 sacrums four foramina sacralia, 9 them five variational sacralia. Conclusion: structural might occur number sacralia may be different. We believe knowing will guide clinicians analysis fractures sacrum.

Sacrum and Pelvic Girdle Development in Lacertidae

Sacrum and pelvis structure and development in four species of Lacertidae currently assigned to different genera are studied: Lacerta agilis, L. vivipara, L. saxicola, Podarcis muralis. Size, shape, and position relationships between the cartilaginous elements as well as patterns and sequence of chondrification and ossification are given. Two sacral segments are characterized by a number of mar...

Unusual pattern of nucleotide sequence variation at the OS-E and OS-F genomic regions of Drosophila simulans.

Nucleotide variation at the genomic region encompassing the odorant-binding protein genes OS-E and OS-F (OS region) was surveyed in two populations of Drosophila simulans, one from Europe and the other from Africa. We found that the European population shows an atypical and large haplotype structure, which extends throughout the approximately 5-kb surveyed genomic region. This structure is depi...

Ganglioneuroma of the Sacrum

Presacral ganglioneuromas are extremely rare benign tumors and fewer than 20 cases have been reported in the literature. Ganglioneuromas are difficult to be differentiated preoperatively from tumors such as schwannomas, meningiomas, and neurofibromas with imaging modalities. The retroperitoneal approach for resection of presacral ganglioneuroma was performed for gross total resection of the tum...
