چکیده
Abstract Stimuli‐triggered in‐situ morphological transformation of peptide nanomaterials may enhance the on‐site accumulation and retention imaging agent cargos in stimuli‐rich regions, thus enabling precise, sensitive, prolonged diseases. Moreover, this strategy permits co‐delivery contrast agents drugs with smart “turn‐on” ability, allowing for efficient disease theranostics. In light significance designing biomedical materials, which remains scarcely reviewed recent years, we herein provide review. We summarize bioimaging applications (i. e., fluorescence imaging, magnetic resonance photoacoustic imaging) these transformation‐based highlight remarkable breakthroughs. Besides, challenges to be addressed field are discussed.

Morphological transformation of hematite nanostructures during oxidation of iron.
Oxidation of metals usually results in the formation of an oxide nanostructure with poorly controlled growth morphologies. By employing a simple mechanical approach that uses sandblasting to modify the surface roughness of iron substrates, we demonstrate that the morphologies of hematite (α-Fe2O3) nanostructures varying from the growth of one-dimensional nanowires to two-dimensional nanoblades ...

Over the last 20 years, self-assembled nanostructures based on peptides have been investigated and presented as biomaterials with an impressive potential to be used in different bionanotechnological applications such as sensors, drug delivery systems, bioelectronics, tissue reparation, among others. Several advantages (mild synthesis conditions, relatively simple functionalization, low-cost and...
متن کاملNIR dyes for bioimaging applications.
Fluorescent dyes based on small organic molecules that function in the near infrared (NIR) region are of great current interest in chemical biology. They allow for imaging with minimal autofluorescence from biological samples, reduced light scattering, and high tissue penetration. Herein, examples of ongoing NIR fluorophore design strategies as well as their properties and anticipated applicati...
متن کاملDevelopment of fluorescent probes for bioimaging applications
Fluorescent probes, which allow visualization of cations such as Ca(2+), Zn(2+) etc., small biomolecules such as nitric oxide (NO) or enzyme activities in living cells by means of fluorescence microscopy, have become indispensable tools for clarifying functions in biological systems. This review deals with the general principles for the design of bioimaging fluorescent probes by modulating the ...
