MORPHOLOGICAL IDENTIFICATION OF ENDEMIC MARINE SPONGE AND THE ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY OF ASSOCIATED BACTERIA

نویسندگان

چکیده

Objective: The primary objective is to morphologically identify a marine sponge from Sethubavachatram village in Tamil Nadu, India. Then the bacteria associated with sample synthesize silver nanoparticles and know antimicrobial property of samples. Methods: sponges identified by morphology found be Hippospongia intestinalis. Lysinibacillus macrolides. Silver were synthesikzed analyzed SEM TEM. Results: that was recovered using number sources derived earlier publications. as Hyattella intestinalis Conclusion: assay confirmed synthesized particles are effective inhibiting disease causing bacterial fungal strains.

Diversity and antimicrobial potential of culturable heterotrophic bacteria associated with the endemic marine sponge Arenosclera brasiliensis

Marine sponges are the oldest Metazoa, very often presenting a complex microbial consortium. Such is the case of the marine sponge Arenosclera brasiliensis, endemic to Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil. In this investigation we characterized the diversity of some of the culturable heterotrophic bacteria living in association with A. brasiliensis and determined their antimicrobial activity. The gener...

The antimicrobial activity of heterotrophic bacteria isolated from the marine sponge Erylus deficiens (Astrophorida, Geodiidae)

Interest in the study of marine sponges and their associated microbiome has increased both for ecological reasons and for their great biotechnological potential. In this work, heterotrophic bacteria associated with three specimens of the marine sponge Erylus deficiens, were isolated in pure culture, phylogenetically identified and screened for antimicrobial activity. The isolation of bacteria a...

Antimicrobial activity and Characterization of Marine bacteria

Marine bacteria were isolated from seawater was collected from different coastal areas of the Tamilnadu Sea. The antimicrobial activities of these bacteria were investigated. Ethyl acetate extracts of marine bacterial fermentation were screened for antimicrobial activities using the method of agar diffusion. The results showed that 25 strains of the isolates have antimicrobial activity. The pro...
