چکیده
Monkeypox (MPXV) is a zoonosis with double-origin DNA (DNA), caused by monkeypox virus, an orthopox virus and close relative of variola (smallpox). It was first reported in central Africa 1970 has historically affected some the poorest most marginalized communities world. The clinical syndrome characterized fever, rash, lymphadenopathy. Complications can include pneumonitis, encephalitis, sight-threatening keratitis, secondary bacterial infections [1].

Diagnosis and assessment of monkeypox virus (MPXV) infection by quantitative PCR assay: differentiation of Congo Basin and West African MPXV strains.
Human monkeypox, an infectious disease caused by monkeypox virus (MPXV), is endemic to western and central Africa. A LightCycler quantitative PCR (LC-qPCR) system was developed for the diagnosis of this disease, targeting the A-type inclusion body gene (ATI gene) of MPXV. One naive monkey was infected with MPXV Zr-599 (Congo Basin strain) and one with MPXV Liberia (West African strain). Another...

Monkeypox is a zoonotic disease endemic to central and western Africa, where it is a major public health concern. Although Monkeypox virus (MPXV) and monkeypox disease in humans have been well characterized, little is known about its natural history, or its maintenance in animal populations of sylvatic reservoir(s). In 2003, several species of rodents imported from Ghana were involved in a monk...
متن کاملA tale of two clades: monkeypox viruses.
Human monkeypox was first recognized outside Africa in 2003 during an outbreak in the USA that was traced to imported monkeypox virus (MPXV)-infected West African rodents. Unlike the smallpox-like disease described in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC; a Congo Basin country), disease in the USA appeared milder. Here, analyses compared clinical, laboratory and epidemiological features of...

Introduction: Monkeypox is a double-stranded virus of the genus Orthopoxvirus, which is transmitted by animals to humans. Monkey pox is a double-stranded virus of the orthopoxvirus genus that is transmitted to humans by animals. So far, two main species of monkeypox have been identified in West Africa and the Congo Basin. The way the monkeypox virus spreads is often through respiratory particle...
