Molecular structure and optical attributes of (Na-CMC/SA) natural polymer blend

ABSTRACT. Biopolymers are referred to the bio-degradable polymer that is derived from living organisms in nature or synthesized renewable materials but needs polymerization. There consisting of monomeric units bond together through a covalent obtain large molecules. A biopolymeric blend sodium carboxymethyl cellulose/sodium alginate (Na-CMC/SA) film was prepared by casting/solvent evaporation method. In addition molecular structure, optical and geometry collected films were characterized. XRD binary investigated interaction miscibility among two biopolymers. FTIR spectrum explicated conferring group’s vibrations. UV/Vis studies appeared peak at wavelength (227 nm) which explained high combination between polymers. Molecular clarifies assignment vibrational spectra pure polymers implied important role (C=O) group as eventful regions for polymers.
