Molecular analysis of resistance gene locus to bacterial canker and wilting disease in tomato mutants

The tomato plant is one of the most widely produced vegetables in world. However, there are several disease factors which limit production. Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. (Cmm) pathogen causes wilting and canker symptoms on leaves plants bird’s eye then completely die. Development resistant varieties prerequisite due to absence an effective control methods against bacterial disease. M3-9 M3-15 have been developed because mutation from susceptible NCEBR3 seeds with ethyl methanosulfonate (EMS). For each chromosome genome, 24 SSR markers were selected end haploid, 12 chromosomes, polymorphic differences between studied. Polymorphisms found SSR13 SSRB18031 located 5 mutants, M3-9, original plants. It envisaged that a resistance gene 5th Further fine mapping studies will reveal location gene(s) for controlling pathogen.
