چکیده

Objective
In recent years, the prognostic and predictive values
of scoring systems such as systemic inflammation
score (SIS) modified (mSIS) have been investigated in colorectal
 cancers. To investigate efficacy modified
 inflammatory calculated by
simple laboratory tests predicting presence of
invasive carcinoma colon polyps with high-grade
 dysplasia (HGD).
 Materials Methods
The postoperative data 44 patients who underwent surgery diagnosis
preoperative HGD between January 2019 and
 October 2021 were retrospectively analyzed.
 According to results postoperative
 histopathological examination, were
 divided into two groups HGD/intramucosal
 carsinom (Tis)/adenomatous polyp invasive
carcinoma. mSIS calculation was made follows:
 0 [albumin (ALB)≥4.0 g/dL lymphocyte/
 monocyte ratio (LMR)≥3.4], 1 (ALB

The indirect role of site distribution in high-grade dysplasia in adenomatous colorectal polyps.

BACKGROUND The appropriate application of Endoscopic modalities for polypectomy depends on the likelihood that the adenoma in question harbors invasive cancer. While prior studies have evaluated polyp size and morphology in assessing the risk of malignancy, in recent decay some authorities have paid more attention to dysplasia. All in all, the relative risk of cancer based on polyp distribution...

Prognostic significance of high-grade dysplasia in colorectal adenomas.

AIM Colonoscopy to detect and remove polyps has contributed to a reduction in colorectal carcinoma. Three-year follow up is recommended for patients considered to be at high risk (at least three adenomas, adenoma ≥ 1 cm, villous or high-grade features). Our study focused on patients diagnosed with high-grade dysplasia with regard to initial management and follow up. METHOD A search of patient...

Interobserver Agreement in Assessing Dysplasia in Colorectal Adenomatous Polyps: A Multicentric Iranian Study

Background & Objective: Most colorectal cancers (CRCs) arise from adenomatous polyps, and clinical management of this type of polyp is highly dependent on the reliability and validity of the pathological diagnosis. The aim of this study was to examine the interobserver agreement of five pathologists in assessing dysplasia in adenomatous polyps. Methods: I...

Childhood bullying involvement predicts low-grade systemic inflammation into adulthood.

Bullying is a common childhood experience that involves repeated mistreatment to improve or maintain one's status. Victims display long-term social, psychological, and health consequences, whereas bullies display minimal ill effects. The aim of this study is to test how this adverse social experience is biologically embedded to affect short- or long-term levels of C-reactive protein (CRP), a ma...
