Modelling reservation-based shared autonomous vehicle services: A dynamic user equilibrium approach

چکیده

Shared Autonomous Vehicles (SAVs) are expected to be used for regular and pre-planned trips. Such trips suitable reservation-based services, wherein the customer needs book a trip in advance. Systems enabling reservation of can allow better planning routes schedules, if optimally designed, enable higher efficiency. The primary objective this research is model effects such system, by formulating solving combined Dynamic User Equilibrium autonomous vehicle Chain Formation (DUESCF) problem. problem formulated as bilevel based on game theory, involving road users SAV service operator. Given situation where conventional private shared vehicles co-exist, select paths departure times maximize perceived utility (commonly treated minimizing disutility) forming DUE (fixed point problem), operator tries performance appropriate chains (combinatorial problem). final traffic assignment that includes chain formation, both obtain optimal solutions reaching Nash equilibrium, no player off unilaterally changing their decisions. A solution approach, Iterative Optimization Assignment (IOA) method, proposed with path flow changes convergence criteria. Furthermore, approach tested its robustness, scenario analysis carried out evaluate impacts services. results show ridesharing system compared carsharing mixed consisting both, terms total travel time, congestion levels, kilometres travelled requirements. • This study integrates fields transport modelling, operations theory. An extended developed SAVs. Interaction between an modelled equilibrium. Experiments conducted ensure stability robustness algorithm. Scenario shows result positive impacts.

Managing User-Generated Content: A Dynamic Rational Expectations Equilibrium Approach

This paper considers the creation and consumption of content on user generated content platforms, e.g., reviews, articles, chat, videos, etc. On these platforms, users’ expectations regarding the amount and timing of participation by others becomes germane to their own involvement levels. Accordingly, we develop a dynamic rational expectations equilibrium model of joint consumption and generati...

Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Hull Geometry Optimization Using a Multi-objective Algorithm Approach

Abstarct In this paper, a new approach to optimize an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) hull geometry is presented. Using this methode, the nose and tail of an underwater vehicle are designed, such that their length constraints due to the arrangement of different components in the AUV body are properly addressed. In the current study, an optimal design for the body profile of a torpedo-shaped...

Management of a Shared, Autonomous, Electric Vehicle Fleet:

19 This paper models the market potential of a fleet of shared, autonomous, electric vehicles 20 (SAEVs) by employing a multinomial logit mode choice model in an agent-based framework 21 and different fare settings. The mode share of SAEVs in the simulated mid-sized city (modeled 22 roughly after Austin, Texas) is predicted to lie between 14 and 39%, when competing against 23 privately-owned, m...

A symbol-based fuzzy decision-making approach to evaluate the user satisfaction on services in academic digital libraries

Academic libraries play a significant role in providing core services that include research, teaching and learning. Usersatisfaction is an important indicator for evaluating the performance of library service. This paper develops a methodfor measuring the user satisfaction in a group decision-making environment. First, the performance of service isevaluated by using questionnaire survey. The sc...

Modelling of an Autonomous Amphibious Vehicle

This paper presents the modelling of an autonomous amphibious vehicle developed at the Australian Centre for Field Robotics, Sydney. All parts of the vehicle’s driveline from the engine, CVT, gearbox to wheels are analysed and modelled. Results from simulation, compared with data from characterising experiments, show that these models are valid and can be used for the control purpose. Keyword: ...
