چکیده
Developing effective therapeutics or preventive interventions for important health threats is greatly enhanced whenever accessible models can enable the assessment of clinically outcomes. While no non-human model ever perfect, inexpensive in vivo small animal such as mice are often great help assessing relevant efficacy potential interventions. In addition to acute diarrhea, long-term growth and developmental effects enteric infections, with without overt increasingly recognized. To address these diverse effects, proving be very helpful. Herein, we review major clinical concerns parasitic bacterial infections that extremely common worldwide, especially vulnerable young children living impoverished areas, recently published murine their We find dietary deficiencies seen developing areas have striking on diarrhea enteropathy outcomes mice. However, differ different pathogens. Specifically, protein zinc deficiency considerably protozoal pathogens, suggesting pathogenetic pathways intervention effects. The pathogens reviewed seven top children, namely, Cryptosporidium, Giardia, Campylobacter, Shigella, enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC), enteroaggregative E. (EAEC), enteropathogenic (EPEC).

Diarrheal disease continues to be a serious health problem, especially in developing countries. Bloody diarrhea represents approximately 20-30% of all cases and has higher morbidity and mortality. Treatment with antibiotics is beneficial in cases of Shigella, Campylobacter, Yersinia and Salmonella infection, principally in those children with a higher risk of invasive disease. The aims of this ...

Background and Objective: The endophytes are the fungi or bacteria that live within a plant in a symbiotic relationship. This study aimed to investigate the effect of isolated bacterial endophytes from Allium jesdianum on some bacterial pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli as well as pathogenic fungi, including Trichophyton mentagrophytes and Candida albicans. Materials an...

The brunt of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) pandemic has been borne disproportionately by resource-poor regions of the world, where tropical infectious diseases continue to hold greatest sway. As a result, our understanding of the epidemiological, biological, and clinical interactions between HIV and tropical pathogens has lagged, compared with our understanding of the interactions betw...
