چکیده
The snow leopard ( Panthera uncia ) is one of the world's most elusive felids. In Bhutan, which 12 countries where species still persists, reliable information on its distribution and habitat suitability lacking, thus impeding effective conservation planning for species. To fill this knowledge gap, we created a country-wide model using “presence-only” data from 420 occurrences (345 sign survey 77 camera-trapping survey) environmental covariates consisting biophysical anthropogenic factors. We analyzed in an ensemble framework combines outputs several models. assess adequacy Bhutan's network protected areas their potential contribution toward species, overlaid output spatial layers biological corridors. identified 7,206 km 2 Bhutan as suitable leopard: 3,647 highly suitable, 2,681 moderately 878 marginally suitable. Forty percent total consisted further 8% These habitats were characterized by mean livestock density 1.3 individuals per hectare, slope 25°; they closely match leopard's main wild prey, bharal Pseudois nayaur ). Our study shows that northern are centre both at national regional scale.

this thesis is based upon the works of samuel beckett. one of the greatest writers of contemporary literature. here, i have tried to focus on one of the main themes in becketts works: the search for the real "me" or the real self, which is not only a problem to be solved for beckett man but also for each of us. i have tried to show becketts techniques in approaching this unattainable goal, base...

Wild goat (Capra aegagrus) is one of the most prominent mountain mammals dispersed in many habitats in Iran. However, few studies on the relationship between this species and its habitat have been conducted. This species is recognized as one of the main food source for highly endangered species such as cheetah and leopard. In this study which lasted from fall 2009 through summer 2011, seasona...
متن کاملHabitat suitability modeling of water birds and waders in Hamun wetland by by Maximum Entropy model
Climate change and human activities have increased negative pressure on natural ecosystems. Wetlands are such ecosystems that widely affected by these negative changes. Birds as a part of wildlife in a wetland have damaged by destruction of wetlands, so, a large group of them, are at risk of extinction. Habitat destruction in wetlands in arid and semi-arid areas has more negative effects on the...

In this study, maximum entropy models were developed in four seasons to evaluate habitat suitability and factors affecting Asian Houbara in Iran. Environmental variables used in modeling consisted of 42 environmental and climate variables for Nayband wildlife refuge and 36 environmental and climate variables for Petregan protected area. Also, seasonal overlap area were obtained using the ENM TO...
متن کاملModeling the habitat suitability of Botak-e-Fars, Cyprinion tenuiradius Heckel, 1849 and determining the impact of Climate Change on its distribution in Fars province
In this study, environmental and climatic variables were used as independent variables to determine the habitat suitability of Cyprinion tenuiradius in Fars Province and to investigate the impact of climate change on its distribution. Modelling was conducted in an R software environment using the MaxEnt algorithm. Based on the results, the performance and accuracy of modelling were good (AUC = ...
