چکیده
Machine stator winding insulation degradation is one of the main results machine aging. It non-negligible once this process becomes asymmetric between phases. The traditional way to determine state health a partial discharge test. However, method requires system offline, which causes production loss and extra administrative burden. This paper presents an idea for better characterizing machine's using common-mode (CM) behavior in machine-drive system. With help circuit decomposition methods modeling tools, CM quantities due aging show unique characteristic that distinguishes itself from other differential-mode (DM) equivalent circuit. shown effective represent effect detection leakage current. provides analytical quantify mathematical approaches, proper approximation has been made on model (CEM) such accurately characterized. proposed will serve purpose predicting abnormal simple RLC Researchers can adapt characterize (SOH).

Multi-phase alternative current machine winding design
In this paper, a generalized formula is proposed for the selection of number of slots required for n-phase alternative current (AC) machine design and the criterion for selecting the starting points of each phases. The analytical model is verified using a four-pole machine with a 36-slot stator. Each coil of the stator winding of this machine is brought out to a patch board that enables the sta...
متن کاملComputation of Common Mode Radiation Due to Asymmetric Coupling on Printed Circuit Boards
Common mode radiation often is the predominant contribution to the overall radiation from printed circuit boards. Since the return paths for common{mode currents are via displacement current, the proximity of the printed transmission lines to nearby metal objects become important. It is shown that common mode currents are due to the asymmetry of the printed structures , and therefore, an eeecti...

PWM Inverters in induction motor drives are known to cause common-mode voltage which results in leakage current flowing through the parasitic capacitors to the ground and creates drawbacks such as shaft voltage, bearing current, electromagnetic interference problems. متن کاملCommon-mode Current Due to Trace and Slit in Ground Plane and Effect of Guard Band
The common-mode (CM) current due to a trace near the PCB edge and across a slit in the ground plane is treated experimentally and by FDTD modeling. The width of the slit was 2 mm and the length was varied. The effect of a guard band with a 5 mm width is also discussed. As the slit length becomes longer, |S21| related to the CM current significantly increases. When the slit penetrates to the cen...
متن کاملA Feasible Solution to Distinguish the Transformer Winding Deformation from Insulation Characteristic Impacts on FRA Spectrum
Frequency Response Analysis (FRA) is popular technique which has been used since the last decade as a diagnostic method for transformers. However, accurate interpretation of FRA measurements is still challenging. Recent studies reveal that apart from winding deformation, FRA data can also be influenced by moisture variation in transformer paper insulation. Hence, a specific transformer’s model ...
